It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny B. Robinson (Marianna, Arkansas), who passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hosea Robinson and Willie Ann Neal Pittman; his stepmother Geneva Robinson; his grandson Kaci C. Robinson; and his siblings, Albert Pittman Jr., Cleo Pittman, Willie Lee Pittman, James Campbell, Aline Garner, Irene Gilliam, Margaret Bonds and Carolyn Andrews.
He is survived by: his wife Verlena Robinson; his daughters, Carolyn Robinson Carter (Allen) of Arkansas, Arlanda Jefferson of Arkansas, Tammekia Scruggs of Arkansas, Connie Pruitt (Reggy) of Arkansas and Diana Lynn Robinson of Arizona; his stepsons, Gabriel Shears (Jaleesa) of Arkansas, Darryl Shears (Anglia) of Arkansas and Quincy Shears of Arkansas; and his siblings, Ronald Robinson, Dearld Robinson, Michael Robinson, Betty Moore of California, Alma Wray (Jeff) of California, Barbara Robinson of California, Dawna Louis (Greg) of California, Rita Robinson of California and Patricia Leigh (David) of California. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, extended family members, and dear friends.
