It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Gist Jr. of Marianna, Arkansas, born in Helena, Arkansas, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Natalie Scarborough Gist; and his former wife Sylvia Rousseau. He is survived by: his children, Sydney Gist White (Rick) of Stuttgart, Lisa Gist Robertson (Kirk) of McLean, VA, Trey Gist (Laura) of Little Rock and Johnny McManus (Lori) of Jackson, TN.; his grandchildren, Lindsey White Smith, Jennifer White, Blake, Carter, Kendall Robertson, Taylor McManus and Collins Gist; and his great grandchildren, Blakeleigh and Josie Smith.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Marianna Memorial Park. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Arkansas Community Foundation, Gist Family Endowment, 5 Allied Drive, Little Rock, AR 72202 or St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 49.
