She is survived by: her siblings, Charles Shepherd (Bea), Robert Shepherd, Carter Shepherd (Shonday), Aaron Shepherd (Tennill), Joseph Shepherd, Edward Shepherd (Lolita), Loris Shepherd (Glen) and Stella Smith; her grandchildren, LaQuita Sharp, Willie Woodier, Ryan Cox, Oteisha Cox, Asia Cox, Roger Cox, Jr., Matthew Cox, Mariah Cox, Imani Boxley, Adrienna Mills, Marquez Mills, Marcus Mills, Andre Mills and Chrisheanna Smith; her siblings, Betty B. Jones and L. C. Jones; and her daughters, Peggy Rooks and Frances Smith. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the True Love Outreach Ministries (1220 Cummings St, Memphis, TN 38106). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
