He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Benjamin Ward and Ethel Simpson Ward; his daughter Lajean Wild; and his siblings, Howard, Verdie, Leroy Ward, Francis Walker and Nancy Henard.
He is survived by: his wife Stella Ward of Marion; his daughter Carol Burke (Ricky); his grandson Douglas Burke of Melbourne, Arkansas; his son-in-law Johnny Wild of Branson, Missouri; his siblings, Rayford, Dwight, Leon, Benny, Jerry, Chris Ward and Brenda Flynn; and his cousin Shake Shack. He is also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews.
