He was predeceased by : his parents, Pauline Herrell and Buford Herrell; and his siblings, Mary Ruth Hood, Patsy Sims, Edward Herrell and Larry Herrell.
He is survived by : his brother Carroll Gene Herrell of Marked Tree; his wife Mattie; and his children, Karen Herrell and Kevin Herrell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews that were not only his family but also dear friends.
