Charles Marvin Carter Obituary

Charles Marvin Carter, age 81, of Marked Tree, Arkansas passed away on May 29, 2025 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born on October 6, 1943 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to Marvin and Edith (Baney) Carter. Charles was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Trumann, Arkansas. He enjoyed working with his hands repairing washers, dryers, etc. and loved spending time with family.

Survivors include; two daughters: Melinda Young (Dewayne) of Paragould, Arkansas and Rhonda Sue Carter of Marked Tree, Arkansas; one sister: Linda Thomas of Trumann, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Niena Criswell, Whitney Midgett, Bethany Hamilton, Nicholas Elrod, James Crist "J.J", Dillon Crist; great grandchildren: Kian Hisaw, Cloe Hisaw, Kira Hisaw, Cecilia Goldman, Kaysen Hanna, Masyn Midgett, Paisley Midgett, Emery Elrod-Baker, Dante Hamilton, Vada Elrod, Raelynn Tolbert, Draedyn Tolbert, Aaliyah Grimes; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his parents: Marvin and Edith (Baney) Carter; wife: Susie Ann Carter; one great granddaughter: Hadleigh Elrod; two brothers: Delbert Carter and Bill Carter; and three sisters: Patricia Moody, Emeline Fortson, Devona Clairday.

The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
