She was predeceased by: her parents, David Curtis Wheeler and Lanie Wheeler; her husband Joseph Bowen; and her children, Joyce and Howard (Katy Hodo Cook).
She is survived by: her granddaughter Shelley; and her great grandchild Kati Hermann.
A graveside service was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Crittenden Memorial Park (2206 US-64, Marion, AR 72364).
Virginia asked for The Lord's Prayer to be read at her passing and no flowers to be purchased.
