He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ratchford and Madge Horton Ratchford; his wife Margie; his grandson Bazze Sewell; and his siblings, Carlene Gilliland and David Ratchford.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janie Horton, Tammy Tennyson (Chuck) and Jill Ratchford; his grandchildren, Kristen Hickman (Jay), Emily Horton, Jared Horton (Kimberly), Dylan Milsap and Jack Bressler; his great grandchildren, Bazze Hickman, Liz Hickman and Marshall Horton; his siblings, Nancy Moore, Bob Ratchford (Kaye) and Kenny Ratchford (Beth); and his siblings-in-law, Martha Highfill, Larry Mahan (Jeannie), Moore and Mahan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
