He was predeceased by : his parents, Beulah Jane McClanahan Honeycutt and Steve Honeycutt; his wife Vivian Wallis Honeycutt; his siblings, J. C. Honeycutt and Louise Honeycutt Riddle; and his sister-in-law Joyce Honeycutt.

He is survived by : his siblings, Harvey Honeycutt, Obeta Wyckoff and Marie Spradlin. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
