He was predeceased by: his parents, Earmer D. Cox, Sr. and Savannah Farmer-Cox; and his siblings, Sammie Cox, Willie C. Cox, Herschell Cox, Cora Wilson and Earmer Cox, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Cox; his children, Kim Cox of Bryant, Arkansas, James Phillips of Killen, Texas, Droshun Cox (Ashley), Yvette Lambert (Wille) of Crawfordsville, Arkansas, Kishna Thomas of Sherwood, Arkansas, Kissa Thomas of Little Elm, Texas and Lotasha Thomas of Little Rock, Arkansas; his granddaughter Chantel Franklin; and his siblings, Earnest Cox, Sr., Evelyn Cox and David Cox (Linda). He is also survived by grandchildren; eight (8) great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church (17380 US 49, Marvell, AR 72366). The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at the Lone Valley Cemetery.
