He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Davison and Cordelia Davison; his son Charles James Davison; and his sister Delia Davison Henson. He is survived by: his wife Bettie; his sons, Gene Davison (Micki) of Marvell and Robert Davison (Rebecca) of Corinth, Texas; his grandchildren, Kristy Davison of Byhalia, C. J. Davison Jr. (Erwin) of Marion, Christen Davison Hitchcock (Adam) of Greenbrier, Steven Davison of Corydon, Kevin Davison (Anna) of Marvell and Emily Davison Sisk (Trenton) of Stratford, Ohio; his great grandchildren, C. J. Davison III (Haley), Colby Davison, Drew Davison, Daniel Davison and Logan Hitchcock; and his sister Mary Nell Ellenburg (Mike) of Claremore, OK.. He is also survived by Six Step-Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bob Neal & Sons - Brickell Funeral Home (350 US 49, Marvell, AR 72366). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Marvell Cemetery.
