He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Ashley and Junita Netterville Ashley; his brother John D. Ashley; and his grandson Ryan Lawrence Woodson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Madeley Ashley; his daughter Sharon Ashley Woodson (Bruce Alan Woodson); and his grandson Brady Tyler Woodson (Emily Rebecca Woodson).
