He was predeceased by: his parents, Bascom Deed Harmon and Mary Essie Harmon (Thompson). He is survived by: his son James R. "Jamie" Harmon, Jr. (Lisa); his brother Robert "Bob" Harmon (DeLois); his grandchildren, Shelby Ann Harmon and Jacob "Jake" Deed Harmon; his stepgrandchildren, Amanda McClain-Butler (Lance) and Matt McClain (Lauren); his niece Lindsay Harmon-Bradshaw (Nathan); his great-nephews, Spencer and Collin Bradshaw; and his stepgreat-grandsons, Aiden Butler, Asher Butler, Andrew Butler, Emmitt McClain and Elliott McClain.
