He is survived by : his wife Sue Grimes Dawson; his children, Tony Dawson (Charity), Michael Dawson (Rikki), Stacin Dawson (Brenda) and Nikki Stolzer (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Ashton, Bailey (Trey), Jason (Kayla), Zachary, Paislee, Shaylee, Zoe and Camden; his great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Jaxsyn, Everly, Syre, Lowen and Griffin; and his brother Rick Dawson (Pam).

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home (650 Central Landing Blvd, Conway, AR 72032). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
