He is survived by: his children, Angie Ford, Tim Simmons, Tracy Downy and Shana Revels; his grandchildren, Michael Simmons, TJ Downey and Jayden Wilcox-Revels; and his siblings, Joann Higgins (Bill) of Ooltewah, TN and Kenneth Simmons (Wanda) of Cleveland, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
