She was predeceased by : her husband Augustine T. Hess Sr.. She is survived by : her children, Augustine T. Hess Jr. (Susan), LeRoy Hess, Loretta Campball (Steve) and Jo Ann Porter (Keith); and her grandchildren, Jenny Hess, Lee Augustine Hess, Donna Jo Hess, Lisa Whitaker, Paul Caldwell, JoAnna Whitley, Amanda Porter and Wesley Porter. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
