He is survived by : his parents, Richard Megargee and Louise Megargee (Ames); his children, Matthew Megargee, Stacey Megargee and Jessica Darling; his grandchildren, Joseph Hancock III, Clara Sims and Arianna Drysdale; and his sisters, Patricia Woodard and Susan Anderson. He is also survived by other friends and family.
