Lila Scott Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lila Scott of Mayflower, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 20, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Samuel Ballew and Bertha Easter Meggs; her former husband John Franklin Stivers Sr.; her husband Russell Scott; her brothers, James Wendall Ballew, Benjamin Eugene Ballew, Sammy Ray Ballew and Thomas Edwin Ballew; and her sons, James Lee Stivers and Billy Lynn Stivers.

She is survived by: her sons, John Franklin Stivers Jr. (Cindy) and Michael Shane Stivers (Onna); and her grandchildren, Chad, Jessica, James, Terra, Brian, Heather, Johnna and Shelby. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; along with a host of extended family.
