He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Lee "Jack" Strickland and Sarah Malinda "Bitty" Raybon Strickland; his wife Orpha Sue Hankins; his brother Elmer Lee Strickland; and his son-in-law Sean Harrell.
He is survived by: his children, Joel Strickland (Ebonie) of Bald Knob, Arkansas and April Harrell of Decatur, Texas; his granddaughters, Abigail Grace Harrell and Hadley Rae Strickland; and his sister Linda Pennington of Thornton, Arkansas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
