She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Whitney and Alma "Verna" Schwartz Whitney; her brothers, Tom Whitney and Bob Whitney; and her grandson-in-law Chris Tucker.
She is survived by: her daughter Julie Soles; her grandchildren, Whitney Meridith (Jarrett), Cory Townsend (Kara Oneal) and Kara Tucker (Lee Childs); her brother Bill Whitney (Blanca); her great grandchildren, Baylee, Maci, Chase, Ryder, Karter and Lennox; her great great grandchildren, Kam and Ellie; and her grandchild Chris Townsend (Kristina). She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
