He was predeceased by: his parents, Fate Chism and Lela May Johnson Chism; and his son DeWayne Jimmy Chism. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Morgan (Jeff) of Wynne, Rhonda Crooks (Darrell) of Aurora, Illinois, Bryon Chism (Debbie) of Elgin and Sam Chism of Elgin. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stevens Funeral Home (220 N Washington St, Forrest City, AR 72335). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
