He was predeceased by : his parents, John Quintine (J. Q.) and Alice Bertha Taylor (Smith); his children, James Edward Taylor and Joetta Rena Taylor; his son-in-law Louie McElyea; his grandson Nicholas (Kayanna Newton); his great grandchild Caden Chouamon; and his sisters, Minnie Little, Ann White and Mary McCullough.
He is survived by : his wife Alta Jacobs Taylor; his children, Johnny Wayne Taylor (Jennifer) of McCrory and Judy Fletcher (Jimmie) of McCrory; his grandchildren, Ryan Taylor, Amber Newton, Carrie Chouamon (Cliff), Caleb McElyea (Melanie), David McElyea (Jason Smith) and Braden Reynolds (Anicca Ashcraft); his great grandchildren, Baylee Bundren, Zaden, Aleigha, Azlynn, Mazlyn Chouamon, Lanie McElyea and Lynden Newton; and his siblings, James, Buddyâ, Taylor of Conway, Johnny Taylor of McCrory and Janet Hess (John) of McCrory. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends.
