It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Benson Holder of McCrory, Arkansas, born in Newport, Arkansas, who passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Deborah Faye Martin Holder (Skelton); his father John Berry Holder; his stepfather Phillip Wayne Ridgeway; and his significant other Sheila Marie "Sissy" Kyle Holder (Morgan). He is survived by: his mother Annie Sue Holder Ridgeway (Roberds); his daughter Heather Ann Holder (James Taylor Hill Jr.) of McCrory; his stepson Sam Kyle of Kentucky; and his granddaughter Lily Ann Hicks. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Known for his generous spirit, he often purchased duplicate Hot Wheels so he could donate the extra cars to children's homes.
