He was predeceased by : his parents, Marvin Meredith and Birtie Meredith (Skinner); his wife Nina Jane Meredith; his daughter Sheila Kay Meredith; and his siblings, Bill, Chester, Claude, Orville, Elbert, Hubert Meredith and Alice Phillips.

He is survived by : his children, Mark Meredith (Lisa) of McCrory, Bob Wade Meredith (Janie) of Patterson, Joyce Meredith of Pumpkin Bend and Kim Gordon (Chris) of Gregory. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
