He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Ancel and Evelyn Ancel (Best). He is survived by : his wife Brenda Ancel; his stepson Tommy Woodard of California; his brother Tommy Joe Ancel (Mary) of Drasco; his nephews, Jayme Ancel (Harriet) of Wynne, Chris Ancel (Shelly) of Sherwood and Stephen Ancel of Heber Springs; and his niece Debbie Ancel McGill of Heber Springs. He is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
