She was predeceased by: her parents, Fletcher Armstrong and Sylvia Armstrong (Carter); her husband H. A. Griffin; her brothers, Donald Armstrong and Gerald Armstrong; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Armstrong and Roverta Griffin Barnett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Trotter (Mike) of Searcy, Janice Headley of McCrory and Mitzie Currier (James) of Tumbling Shoals; and her grandchildren, Jamie Ballard (Tyler), Carla Hargrove (Chris), Leigh Anne Coston (Zeke), Billy Headley, Michael Headley and Robbie Headley (Kayla). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; several beloved nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thompson-Wilson McCrory Funeral Home East Third (304 E 3rd St, McCrory, AR 72101). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
