We are sad to announce that, on February 10, 2026, at the age of 64, Laura Leek of McGehee, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Laura is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Laura's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry Love and Betty Love; and her son Aubrey Seth Hopson. She is survived by: her husband Ernest Wayne Leek; her daughters, Olivia Leek of Starkville, MS and Mary Emeline Hopson of Hot Springs, AR; and her brothers, David Goodson of Monticello, AR and Jonathan Kent Goodson of Milan, TN..
