He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Mae Long Durham; his son Dearl G. Durham Jr.; his parents, Elsie Caldwell and Pierce Durham; his stepmother Carrie Moon; and his siblings, Carl Alvin Durham, Nora Glyndolyn Cooley and Elsie Jonell Durham.
He is survived by: his nieces, Carla Grange (Leone), Erin Bates (Brian), Karen Henderson (Pat), Glendolyn Worley (Michael) and Alyssa; his great-nephew Thomas Bates; and his extended family, Shirley, LeRoy Hill, Tracy, Jeff Eades, Jana, Kyle Addison, Abigail Eades (Abby), Hailey Addison, Reagan Eades (McKinley), Alyssa Addison and Liam Eades.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Smith Benton Funeral Home (322 N Market St, Benton, AR 72015). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Lebanon Cemetery (298 Lebanon Rd, McRae, AR 72102).
