He was predeceased by : his father Bill Garland. He is survived by : his wife Connie Hall; his sister Shirley Hicks (Stanley) of Cherry Valley; his niece Belinda Locke of Jonesboro; his nephew Jeff Andrews of Wynne; his brothers-in-law, Christopher Hall of Paragould and Ronald Hall of Tyronza; and his parents-in-law, Joe and Juanita Hall of Birdeye.

Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children's Home in Paragould, Arkansas.
