Cecil leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Cecil’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Cecil will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hiram Gay and Stella Edeker Gay. He is survived by: his children, Renée Langdon, Blair Cone, Amanda Gay and Bentley Gay; and his grandchildren, Taylor Langdon, Ryan Langdon, Austin Koonce and Kage Dockins. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, extended family members, and many friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Melbourne Cemetery.
