He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Giefer of Melbourne and Kristin Giefer of Las Vegas, Nevada; his sister Laurie Spindler of Minnesota; his grandchildren, Joseph Giefer, Theo Witte, Noah Gomer and Sam Gomer; and his great grandchildren, Scarlett Giefer, Cameron Giefer, Marcellus Giefer, Tobias Giefer, Temperance Shroian and Serenity Norton. He is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
