She was predeceased by : her parents, Ramon Alvarez and Zuila Merciales Alvarez; her spouse Dixie "Harry" Tilton; and her grandson Justin Roberts. She is survived by : her daughters, Marilou Alvarez-Todd of Tacoma and Catherine Alvarez-Sauerzopf of Woodinville, Washington; her granddaughters, Keisha Hall and Ilaya Roberts; her great grandchildren, Andrew Townsend, Jr., Xavia Hall, Lauren Roberts, Justin Roberts, Jr., Rue Roberts, Izaiah Roberts, Kingston Roberts and Santino Collier; her great great grandchild Rain Townsend; her granddaughter-in-law Denice Roberts of Spanaway, Washington; and her cousin Markie Garner of Lamont. She is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
