She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Finis O'Neal and Annie Delling O'Neal; her spouse Y. D. Whitehurst, Jr.; her daughter Teresa Whitehurst; her sister Lera Richardson; her sibling's children, Natasha Puryear and David Richardson; and her great-nephew David Michael Richardson.
She is survived by: her son Tim Whitehurst (Carol) of Melbourne; her granddaughter Meagen Whitehurst of Bradford; her sister Patsy Whitehurst of Sherwood; her nieces, Lisa Lemay (Mike) of Beebe, Robin Long (Ron) of Sherwood and Jennifer Burdette of Edgewood, Kentucky; her great-nephew Josh Long (Ashley); and her great-nieces, Shana Settle (Zach) of Sherwood, Baylee Eads (Garrett) of Beebe and Makenzie Martin (Waylon) of Beebe. She is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
