She is survived by: her nephew Steve Carlson; her daughter Kandy; her son-in-law Calvin Ortgies of Marion, Iowa; her grandsons, Christopher Ortgies of Cedar Rapids and Sean (Kelsey Ortgies) of Marion, Iowa; her great grandchildren, George, Prudence, Fred, James, Hannah and Samuel; her nieces, Renee and Annette; and her close friend Ed Gibson.
