He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Maxwell and Opal Maxwell (Young); his wife Lillie Marilyn Maxwell (Holmes); his brothers, Vernon Wayne Maxwell, Johnny Melvin Maxwell, Jerry Lynn Maxwell and Harold Glenn Maxwell; and his daughter-in-law Dede Maxwell.
He is survived by: his son David Ray Maxwell (Wendy Jane); his grandchildren, Dillon Ray Maxwell (Cassi), Rylee Dean Maxwell, Cooper Scott Maxwell and Molly Lynne Maxwell; his brother Earnest Lee Maxwell (Rita) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his sister-in-law Shirley Maxwell; and his sibling's children, Sabrina Foreman (Matt) of Pittsburgh, Teresa Lynn Propst (Adam) of Tulsa, Stephanie Walker of Navasota, Texas and Allen Lee of Woodinville, Washington.
