She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Bates and Hester Key Bates; her husband Apache Jim Wilson; her sister Virginia Brumfield; her brother-in-law Ernie Brumfield, Sr.; and her brother Billy Bates.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Charlotte Bates; and her nieces and nephews, Donna Wigginton (Steve), Wesley Bates (Cheryl), Brad Bates, Allison Swaim (Andrew), Gary, Andrea Brumfield and Ernie Brumfield, Jr.. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews, friends, and other family members.
