He is survived by: his wife Virginia Sue Maddox; his son John David Maddox II (Mandy) of Mena; his grandchildren, Madison Maddox of Fayetteville, Macy Covington and Matthew Ode Maddox (Kay Maddox) of Las Vegas; his great grandchildren, Tessa Maddox, Gwyneth Maddox and Matthew Maddox of Las Vegas; his stepdaughter Lori Sanders; his stepgrandchildren, Jackson Sullivan of Dallas and Sarah Sullivan of Mena; his stepson Rob Sanders of Mount Ida; his stepgranddaughter Julia Sanders of Fayetteville; his stepdaughter Natalie Graumann (Kyle Graumann); his stepgrandchildren, Cas and Eliza Graumann of Little Rock; his sister Jaime Godspink of Creswell; Daegan Covington of Plain Dealing. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
