She was predeceased by: her parents, Webster Edison Thornton and Lela Ardith Thornton (Kesterson); and her grandson Jason Wilkerson. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Joyce Wilkerson, Sarah Lynn Cornelius, Rebekah Ann Cornelius and Michael James Cornelius; her siblings, Vivian Tway, Ellen Leeper, Letha Martin and Delland Thornton; and her grandson Jarrett Wilkerson. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
