She was predeceased by: her parents, David P. Maclure Jr. and Floramay "Babs" Edwards (Byers); her husband James Lee Bates; and her son Richard Lee Bates. She is survived by: her daughter Sherri Rainey; her son-in-law William of Mena; her daughter Lisa Bates; her daughter-in-law Geri Ayers of Las Cruces, NM; her sister Megan Maclure of California; her half-sister Nina Byers of Indiana; and her stepbrother Michael Hunter (Bonnie) of Missouri. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Mena, Ar.
