He was predeceased by : his parents, Neal Barrett and Matilda Barrett (Brun); his wife Elaine Barrett; and his siblings, Charlie, Wes, Pete, Doyle "Doc", John, Orena, Lena, Maggie, Virdie "Shorty", Ethel and Bonnie.
He is survived by : his children, Richard Howard Barrett, Jr. (Sonya) and Rebecca Barrett; his grandchildren, James Barrett, Anna Barrett, Ethan Barrett and Stephen Barrett; and his sister Velma Rans. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
