“Well, Bob. We have both lived longer than I expected. I wish I had been able to see you before you were gone. We had known each other for at least 60 years. You always had such a great sense of humor. Compassionate, caring. You were a gentle giant. I can still hear that Arkansas drawl. I am not far behind you. So many friends and relatives are gone and that, to me, is the hardest thing about aging. I'll miss you until I'm gone. Goodbye old friend.”
