We announce the death of Sammy Shippey of Mena, Arkansas, who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Shippey and Ardell Shippey. He is survived by: his wife Susie Shippey of Mena; his children, Rhea, Keith Whalen of South Carolina, Sam J and Amy Shippey of Mena; his grandchildren, Faron (Chelsea), Tyler (Dannielle), Kyle (Kayla), Hannah (Felix) and Kassie (Noah); his great grandchildren, Austin of Mena, Farrah of Mena, Caiden of Mena, Aleah of Mena and Mateo of Charleston; and his siblings, Raydon Shippey of Pleasant Hill and Kim Shippey of Petaluma, California..
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Christ's Church (803 Church Ave, Mena, AR 71953).
