We bid farewell to Venita LaJean Armstrong of Mena, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 14, 2025 at the age of 81. Venita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her mother Lillian Brownfield; her stepfather Leon Brownfield; her father George Sidney Manning (Lillian Juanita Green Manning); and her brother John Sidney Manning. She is survived by: her husband Ira James Armstrong; her sons, Kenny Armstrong (Jeannie) and Brent Armstrong (Pam); and her siblings, Dwight, Jim, Buddy Manning, Jenny West and Rita Powell. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Breyley Room, Mount Olivet Chapel - Greenwood Funeral (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111). Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Funeral Mount Olivet Chapel - Greenwood Funeral Homes and Cremation (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park (5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034).
