She was predeceased by: her mother Lillian Brownfield; her stepfather Leon Brownfield; her father George Sidney Manning (Lillian Juanita Green Manning); and her brother John Sidney Manning. She is survived by: her husband Ira James Armstrong; her sons, Kenny Armstrong (Jeannie) and Brent Armstrong (Pam); and her siblings, Dwight, Jim, Buddy Manning, Jenny West and Rita Powell. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
