He was predeceased by: his parents, James Evans and Vivienne Breeden Hays; his siblings, Michael Hays, Missy Brill, Cindy Sours and Deborah Harsh; and his nephews, BJ Hays and Skyler Hays.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Hays of Pine Ridge; his son Quincy; his daughter-in-law Elena Hays of Hot Springs; his daughter Gretchen; his son-in-law Justin Goodnight of Mena; his brother Bob; his sister-in-law Connie Hays of Carl Junction, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Katy Anne Goodnight, Koleman Andrew Goodnight, Savannah Marie Goodnight, Quade William Goodnight, Ariana Sophia Hays and Gabriel Alexander Hays. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Mena, Ouachita Little Theater, or the Montgomery County Council for the Performing Arts.
