He is survived by: his father William Mayo; his wife Charlotte Chidester; his children, Cody Mayo (Keri), Brandi Mayo and Melissa Rodrigues Vargas (Miguel); his stepchildren, Brian Yeary and Crystal Nisbet; and his siblings, Robin Mayo and Sherry Mayo. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many other cherished relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Richwoods Cemetery.
