Gary Don Morris Obituary
Gary Don Morris, age 76, of Monette, Arkansas passed away on May 11, 2025 at his home. He was born on September 3, 1948 in Piggott, Arkansas to Duward Morris and Bessie (Ray) Morris. Gary was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed worshiping God, going golfing, riding bicycles, and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Survivors include; wife of 36 years: Rebecca Morris of the home; four children: Travis Tompkins (Carrie) of Springdale, Arkansas, Melanie Gosa (Charles) of Lake City, Arkansas, Kellie Carter (Keith) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Kyle Morris (Megan) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren: Josh Morris, Tristan Tompkins, Gracie Tompkins, Trevor Tompkins, Monica Raines (Dekota), Hannah Gosa, Maddie Gosa, Riley Carter, Ryan Carter, Julia Morris, Jackson Morris; four great grandchildren; one brother: Irvin Morris (Patty) of Paragould, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by; his parents: Duward Morris and Bessie (Ray) Morris; one son: Brian Chad Morris; and two brothers: Gerald Morris and James Morris.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service in Manila, Arkansas with Kyle Morris officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Per Gary's wishes in 2004 he chose to donate his body to science.
