It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Michael Hatch of Monette, Arkansas, who passed away on June 28, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though James Michael has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his father Hershel; and his brother Thomas Gordon Hatch. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Krisiti Austin (Jeff) of Monette and Brian Hatch of Paragould; his grandsons, Ryan Austin (Shelly) of Monette and Layne Austin (Allison) of Russellville; his great grandchild Brooklyn Mae Austin; his mother Frances Hatch of Lake City; his siblings, Vickie White (Lynn) of Needham and Paul Hatch (Patty) of McCrory; and his aunt Ramona "Pete" (Charlie Welch). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a whole host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Monette First United Methodist Church W Drew (913 Drew Ave, Monette, AR 72447). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
