Madge D. Pruitt Obituary

Madge D. Pruitt, 92, of Monette, Arkansas passed away at her home on October 30, 2023. She was born on August 20, 1931 in Gosnell, Arkansas to Otis and Flossie (Raspberry) Downing. Madge was known for her homemade Divinity and Chicken and Dressing. She enjoyed cooking, porch sitting with her friends, working in her flower garden, and making Christmas candy for everyone.

Survivors include; two sons: Brian Kirk Pruitt of Monette, Arkansas and Barry Keith Pruitt of Monette, Arkansas; one daughter: Melissa Cochran of Navada; two sisters: Maryland Ricard (Pete) of Blytheville, Arkansas and Pamela Taylor of Tennessee; one brother: Ronald Kirk Downing of Gosnell, Arkansas; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many cousins; and a host of other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by; her parents: Otis and Flossie (Raspberry) Downing; two daughters: Carol Ollison and Joyce Moon; and six siblings: Ben Downing, Adran Downing, Shirley Masterson, William Downing, Joe Downing, and Donna Coleman.
