Noble Glen Cullum Obituary
Noble Glen Cullum, age 90, of Monette, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on July 4, 1935, in Monette, Arkansas, to Herbert and Velma Cullum. Noble was born and raised in Monette. Noble and Mary raised their kids and built a life together in Monette. Noble was a man so many remember from Noble's Grocery Store in Monette that he owned and operated for over 20 years.
The stories about Noble at the grocery store are too many to count. If you were around when he had the grocery story you probably have a funny story to tell too. He was always giving the kids something when they came in. Noble and Red Hot were always playing tricks at the grocery store. He put in a recreation center with fun games for everyone to play and have pizza. He also had his barber license. Noble was a farmer and took pride in the land and still enjoyed watching the crops go in and harvest time every year. Noble's Fish Market was also a place most local families remembered going. Noble could cook some fish and hush puppies like no one else. Noble really could cook about anything and at one time had a Dairy Queen in town. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing all his life and carried that on to his son and grandkids and now great grandkids. He loved playing cards with family and he always kept score. He enjoyed the garden with his friend Stan and was a jack of many trades.
He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Cullum and a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his children, Kent Cullum, Kim Jones (Doyle); grandchildren, Tiffany Barnes (Chris), Mallary Davis (Lance), Drake Cullum (Kate), Christian Cullum (Abby);He also leaves behind his cherished great-grandchildren, Jacob Barnes, Cayden Davis, Mace Davis, and Hudson Cullum.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Gale Cullum, Wanda Zelko, Herbert "Red Hot" Cullum, Hazel Liebch, Bea Alberta, and Randy Cullum.
Those who knew Noble will remember him for his quick wit, jokes, and stories. He was a lifelong prankster that many will miss.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15th 2026, at the Assembly of God Church in Monette. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026. Burial will follow at Monette Memorial Cemetery in Monette, Arkansas with Mallary Davis, and Jena Alberta officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
