He was predeceased by : his parent Shirley "Nig"; his brother Emmitt "Sonny" Copeland; his parents-in-law, Fred and Lorene Mangrum; and his niece Cindy Copeland.

He is survived by : his sons, Joshua Kane and Josh (Rickey) of Monette; his wife Sandy; his grandchildren, Allie Copeland, Aubree Copeland of Monette, Brayden and Layney Copeland of Brandon, Mississippi.; his siblings, Shirley Copeland Taylor of Monette, Linda Copeland Morris of Monette and Joe Copeland of Dallas Texas; his niece Stahr Couch; and also, Sonny and Jessica. He is also survived by nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to the Monette Church of Christ, the Children's Home of Paragould, or the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society.
